Welcome to The Links Primary School

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you, on behalf of the staff, governors and pupils, to The Links Primary School’s website. The Links Primary School has one class per year group and is situated in Eaglescliffe.

Whatever the needs of your child we aim to ensure they thrive at The Links, feeling safe, enjoying learning and celebrating success. We want our pupils’ time in our school to be memorable, build upon what they know and can do and help them become lifelong learners.

We value highly the partnership between home and school and encourage all parents to take an active part in the education of their children. The partnership between school staff, parents, governors and other stakeholders is an essential one. Children are at the heart of all we do and their social and emotional well-being, as well as their academic achievements are very important. Our committed and experienced staff, will work in partnership with you so we can develop each child’s full potential in all areas.

Our school has Little Acorns Wrap Around Care on site which provides provision both before and after school.  We also have an excellent array of after school clubs including Basketball, Choir, Football, French, STEM and Art.  We believe in the importance of providing enriched opportunities in music, art and sport beyond the classroom.

I hope that you find our website useful and informative. Through the site you can learn a little more about the school, the staff and the curriculum. You may wish to check term dates or the latest newsletters. All of this information and so much more, including pictures of recent events involving both our pupils both in and out of school, can be located on the website, which we hope you will enjoy using.

Visitors are more than welcome to come and look round, meet myself, the staff and see for yourself our vibrant and happy children and the safe, secure and enriching environment we have created.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child to the school.
